Which PC Games to Play on Your PC

Whether you are looking for the best PC games to play on your PC, or just want to learn about some of the latest releases, you will find the information you need right here.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Originally released on Xbox One, The Master Chief Collection has recently been refreshed with new features and optimized for the next-gen console. Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes all multiplayer maps and campaigns from all six games in the Halo franchise. It also includes a number of remastered maps from Halo 2. It’s now compatible with Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live, and Windows Game Pass.

In addition to the six remastered maps, The Master Chief Collection includes two exclusive multiplayer maps from the original Halo 2 (Windows Vista). Additionally, there are 50 Spartan Ops missions, a Firefight mode, and five cutscene-only missions.

Despite the improvements made to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, some fans have had issues playing online. This is mainly due to the matchmaking system, which sometimes results in inaccurate in-game statistics and uneven team compositions. There are many technical issues that were resolved in post-release patches.

However, 343 Industries has learned some valuable lessons from The Master Chief Collection’s launch. They are currently planning to avoid these same mistakes with future releases. In fact, they have even decided to incorporate the best elements of their previous titles into the Master Chief Collection. For example, they have introduced a cross-platform play system in the future.

In addition to The Master Chief Collection’s new features, it will also receive 4K UHD support and split-screen enhancements on Xbox One X. It will also be available in the Microsoft Store. It will run at 120 frames per second, and it will be optimized for the next-gen consoles.

Fortunately, there are no major changes to the storyline or gameplay. The Master Chief Collection still features some of the best maps from Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2. Moreover, the live-action digital series Halo: Nightfall is included with the package.

Torment: Tides of Numenera

Described as an isometric RPG, Torment: Tides of Numenera is a spiritual sequel to Planescape: Torment. The story takes place in a distant, battered Earth, billions of years in the future. The Ninth World has been the home of many advanced civilizations that have come and gone. These civilizations have left behind broken remnants, including statues of long-dead gods.

The game uses a text-based dialogue system that allows InXile to create a rich, branching narrative. The player character begins the game with no memories. They wake up in the sky.

The first half hour of the game has the player choosing a party member, and then the story branches off. They must work through the mysteries of their existence. The player’s decisions affect a system of abstract powers called Tides. Each Tide symbolizes a different set of standards. The Tides gradually change as the players affect them.

The game’s writing is excellent. There is a wide range of conversation options, from lighthearted sci-fi jokes to terrifying dissections of the nature of existence.

The dialogue also makes use of skill checks and companions. Each character has a number of skill points, and you can spend these points to improve your chances of persuading people. In addition, critical rolls replenish the pool of your stats. Depending on how well you perform a critical roll, you may receive additional benefits.

The game’s combat is also turn-based. Each character has a number of speed, intellect, and might points. The more you spend, the more powerful you’ll become.

While the gameplay isn’t as impressive as other RPGs, there are still some things to like. The graphics aren’t very good, and there are a few glitches. However, the game runs very smoothly on modern machines. It’s a good purchase for anyone looking for an RPG.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Developed by Guerrilla Games, Horizon Zero Dawn is a third-person action RPG. It was published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and is one of the most highly rated PS4 games of all time. The game features an open world, stealth, and a skill tree.

The main storyline is about a young hunter named Aloy, who is caught up in the aftermath of an unknown event. In the process of exploring, Aloy finds Focus, a wearable device that gives her augmented reality. She then earns skill points that give her new abilities.

While there are a few bugs with the PC version, the game is still an excellent port. It has received substantial upgrades on the PC. The best part is, the menus are still intact.

The title should also be considered the best PlayStation 4 game to date. It is a good example of how Sony has begun to bring their first party titles to the PC. The next PlayStation exclusive to hit the PC is Days Gone, which is due in Spring.

The game features an interesting plot and a number of notable feats of engineering. Among other things, the game is capable of rendering multiple plot threads.

The game also has an impressive mechanical bestiary. In addition to its main protagonist, Aloy, the game features a variety of machines and robots. Some are even dangerous, running amok. The game even has its own unique setting, with a civilization that hovers between stone and bronze ages.

The game is also quite fun to play. It features an engaging storyline, a leveling system, and the ability to complete side missions. It also has a decent range of equipment, including bows, arrows, and spears.

Bloody Palace

Designed to test your skills, Bloody Palace is a free DLC package that’s part of the HD Collection. It’s available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

It’s a survival gauntlet mode. The game’s 101 floors are filled with enemies and bosses. Each floor offers unique twists, environmental hazards, and special stages. To advance to the next level, players must defeat all of the enemies on that floor. Each time they do, they receive a time bonus. If they fail to do so, they’re respawned on a different floor.

When playing, you can select from three playable characters. The first is Dante, the second is V, and the third is Vergil. Each character has their own unique loadouts, and the player can also change their loads to fit the enemies. The best way to progress through the Bloody Palace is to customize your loadout before you start.

There are many levels in the Bloody Palace, with each stage containing more enemies. The harder the enemies are, the longer it takes to reach the next stage. It’s important to defeat them quickly. The best way to do this is to avoid taking damage. This prolongs your time and will also reward you with bonus time for the next level.

Unlike the main campaign, Bloody Palace is designed to be more challenging. It’s a good place to test new weapons, learn combos, and practice combat. It’s also a good warm-up for the main game.

There are two types of bosses in the Bloody Palace: those you can fight as a character and those you can’t. For example, Nero can’t fight the bosses on the first floors, but he can take on them in the second.

JRPGs

Whether you’re a JRPG fanatic or new to the genre, there are a number of PC games to check out. Some are great new entries in the genre, while others offer a look back at classics from the past.

If you’re a newcomer to the genre, Recettear is a great start. Its translation is better than most Japanese games and its characters are well-rounded, logically motivated, and relatable.

If you’re looking for a more traditional jRPG experience, The Octopath Traveler offers a range of skills and supporting abilities to help you progress. Though the visual quirk takes some getting used to, it’s ultimately a fun and satisfying experience.

Another great new entry is Fire Emblem Awakening. It’s a turn-based RPG set in Japan that features a variety of monsters and friendly monsters. It also has a likable story and a clever battle system.

Lastly, if you’re interested in an Eastern role-playing game, consider Yakuza. It’s a bit more humorous than other titles in the genre. Its unique storyline follows a man who’s been sentenced to a long prison term, and must discover the truth about his family’s betrayal. It also has dynamic combat and interesting familiars.

Whether you’re a newcomer to JRPGs or a veteran, there are a number of PC games you can check out. Some of the most notable include Code Vein, Dragon’s Crown Pro, and Oninaki. Other games that may interest you are Monster Hunter: World, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Persona 4: Golden.

In terms of overall popularity, the JRPG genre has been a huge hit with both fans and critics. The success of this genre has helped change its image, as it was once perceived as infantile.
